Favorite moment on wedding day?

Always the “First Look”! Seeing those pre-ceremony butterflies melt away with an intimate and emotional private moment is always something I look forward to.

What would you say is your own strength as a planner?

Being able to stay calm under pressure!

Favorite Hawaiʻi wedding venue?

There are so many incredible venues, it’s so hard to choose!

On Oʻahu, Ocean Lawn at Four Seasons Ko Olina

Design must?

A fully decked out sweetheart or head table! It’s the focal point of your reception–so I love thinking about adding moody candle light, fabric runners for texture, and of course lots of blooms.

Favorite memory at FTG?

How can I pick one! Probably one of my favorite memories is traveling to the west coast as a team to shoot our FTG10 campaign. It was so fun revisiting some of our favorite spots together, getting creative with our photoshoots, and just spending time together in hotel rooms enjoying room service and binging some reality TV.

Guilty pleasure?

Boba and nice ice cream

What is _____'s strength as a planner?

Monique: A logistics queen! She’s on top of every single detail on wedding day–and it definitely makes for a seamless wedding day for each and every vendor!

Alyssa: Emotional awareness! I’ve had so many couples tell me that Alyssa was always the one they could count on to have their back on wedding day–whether it was putting a family member in check or just grabbing them a cocktail when they were ready to party!

Richel: She’s a fountain of ideas! I’m always in awe of the creativity and thoughtfulness Richel puts into every wedding design and truly every aspect of For The Good!
