What You Can Expect for Your 2021 Wedding
It’s a new year for weddings, and we’re beyond excited for all of the possibilities.
Inevitably weddings this year will look a little different–but what we know for sure is that they will be a little more intimate, styled to the nines, and have an extra personalized touch that will leave your guests SO honored that they could share this moment with you.
Here’s what to expect for 2021 weddings:
Intimate Events
It goes without saying that weddings will look a little smaller this year–but odds are, you will still have the people in your life who mean the most to you there! With a smaller guest count, you can totally focus on the guest experience and splurge on details that you might have had to forgo with a 100+ guest list. We also love that you’ll inevitably have more time to spend with the most important people in your lives (and we already know they’ll be happy about that, too!).
Ultra Styled Setups
This just might be our favorite part!! We love the styling possibilities with a more intimate wedding. Think lounge areas, styled cocktail tables, lawn games–practically anything you can dream up! We love that you can think about a reception that can be distanced, yet interactive for your guests groups.
Thoughtful Catering
Give your guests the full experience with service from cocktail hour to the sweet treats at the end. We anticipate that you’ll be thinking about passed hors d'oeuvres and desserts, and formal plated dinners rather than buffet lines and dessert tables.
An Extra Special Experience for the Guests (and Wedding Party!)
We might have said something along these lines before, but with an intimate wedding, you can create a truly unforgettable experience for the most special people in your lives. From providing premium cocktails (and a killer bartender crafting it all) to surprising your wedding party with a curated gift box, there are so many ways to make your special day, a thoughtful celebration for everyone involved.
Safety First
Letting your guests know that you’ve put thought into how you’re keeping everyone safe and comfortable is so important for everyone’s peace of mind. You can include a section on your wedding website about certain guidelines that you (and the venue) will abide by, and assure them that sanitation stations will be placed around the venue. You could also require your guests on getting a negative COVID test for an extra blanket of security. And don’t sweat it if you feel like you’re asking for too much, your guests will appreciate the lengths you are going to to create a safe and comfortable space.
