Tum Tum’s February Cake: A Coconut Chiffon Dream

This month’s cake is a love letter to both texture and flavor. Our February cake features a delicate coconut chiffon cake, layered with a luscious strawberry compote & crème cremeux filling, and finished with a silky vanilla bean buttercream. The combination of tropical coconut, bright strawberries, and rich vanilla makes each bite feel like a sweet, airy embrace.

Tessa of Tum Tum shares: “Depending on where you’re located in the country, strawberries are the first sign that spring has arrived. There’s nothing like a juicy deep red straight off the vine strawberry.” This cake celebrates that early spring moment, pairing soft sponge with the richness of buttercream and the natural brightness of fresh strawberries.

The Signature February Cocktail: Strawberry Jam

To complement the cake’s dreamy flavors, we’ve crafted a cocktail that highlights strawberries in the best way possible. Our Strawberry Jam cocktail is the perfect balance of sweet, tart, and refreshing, making it an ideal Valentine’s Day sip.

Ingredients:

2 oz of gin

1 oz lemon juice

3 tablespoon strawberry jam

Garnish: strawberry




In a shaker add ice

Add in

-2 oz of gin

-1 oz lemon juice 

-3 tablespoon strawberry jam

Shake and serve in glass filled with ice 

Garnish with a strawberry slice
