An Endless Summer Beachfront Wedding in Honolulu
Queue the ukelele strumming in the background, the smell of plumerias and coconuts, and a warm summer breeze that embraces your newlywed bliss.
When we think of a quintessential Hawaiʻi wedding, we think of a beachfront ceremony lined with palm trees, bright tropical florals, and a warm summer evening–and this Lanikuhonua wedding was just that and more. This Maryland couple knew they were destined to tie the knot in Hawaiʻi and wanted to draw inspiration from the magic and romance of the islands as well as their own fun-loving personalities.
The day started off with a sweet first look in the foyer, leading to their ceremony on the beachfront lawn. Complete with crossback chairs and a classic breezy arch with rose and ginger accents, the beautiful ceremony led into their cocktail hour photos, where the couple had a little time to relish in their newlywed love on the beach. The night ended with a first dance illuminated by mini fireworks, and also with one of the most memorable personal touches, catered Taco Bell for late night munchies.
