We’ve all been spending a lot more time at home–and between working, fitting a home exercise in, cooking, and cleaning a seemingly endless amount of dishes, we know that finding time for wedding planning can seem a little challenging at times. But believe it or not, there are more than a few ways you can make your at-home date night a productive one.

Here are some fun and romantic activities that will not only spice up your night at home, but also check off a couple of essential wedding-planning duties.

Have an at-home cake tasting

Let them eat cake–at home! Some wedding cake vendors are creating at-home cake testings for couples so you can have a fun little cake tasting from the convenience of your own home. Create an evening out of it and make a mini dinner together to leave room for all of the cake, and maybe even make it a game and blindfold your partner to see which one they really like the most.

Share a little self-care and pamper each other

Because we all know that self-care is crucial these days, take time to pamper each other with a sheet or homemade face mask together. If you want to go the extra mile, give each other a massage complete with oils and candles for some spa-level relaxation from home.

You have your location set, but what happens after you get there is completely up to you! Use Tripadviser, travel blogs, YouTube, and even Instagram hashtags to find out the scenic lookouts, restaurants, and other can’t-miss spots to visit while you’re there, and don’t forget to write it all down in a journal or in your phone!

This one might leave you a little buzzed, but it’s definitely for a good cause. Decide on what type of drink you would like to create–whether it’s tequila, vodka, or whiskey-based–and queue up the Pinterest posts from there! Or, ask your caterer or bar service to provide some tried-and-true cocktail recipes that you can whip up at home and have an evening to taste test each one. After you decide on the winner, bounce off some creative signature cocktail names that will be a cute ultra-personalized touch for your special day.
